CONFERENCES:  Conferences are held in November with each family and throughout the school year as needed. They may be scheduled before or after school. Use the main lobby doors to "sign in" at the security desk before proceeding down to the classroom.

HOME PRACTICE:  Please work on the following tasks with your child:        1) opening and closing the backpack  2) using scissors  3) coloring with crayons  4) opening/closing a glue bottle  5) buttoning/zipping a jacket     6) tying shoes   and 7) using facial tissues.  This gives them the opportunity to "show off" for you as well as giving them needed practice.

ALLERGIES:  Please inform me of any special needs  your child may have.  Dietary restrictions or food allergies are especially important in that we sample many things related to our unit of study.

DONATIONS:  I frequently ask for donations to enrich our unit of study.  Please consider these items as you do your weekly shopping.  Donation requests come home in the classroom newsletters.

VOLUNTEERS:  Any one may volunteer in the following ways:  1) classroom helper preparing folders 2) donations 3) room parents 4) field trip chaperone 5) project preparer ( copies, booklets etc).  We would love to have you volunteer even if you work full time.
